Unsolicited Question: What do you use to search NTFS drives on macOS?

By default, macOS Finder can't search connected NTFS-formatted drives. If you attempt to use Spotlight or Finder to search for folders or files stored on a connected Western Digital, Toshiba, Buffalo, or Seagate, only local results appear on the search results.

You can search from the Terminal or opt to use an application like EasyFind. EasyFind has been around for years and is a lightweight search utility. The application, which is available from the Apps Store, can efficiently use macOS resources to quickly index and search connected NTFS-formatted storage.
