YACReader on Ubuntu and Mac OS X El Capitan Part 2
Continued from YACReader on Ubuntu and Mac OS X El Capitan Part 1
The Mac version of YACReader installs without issues on OS X El Capitan. Unlike other cross-platform applications, the design of both the Library and Reader doesn't stick out on OS X's desktop environment.
The Library function of YACReader is certainly welcome in Mac OS X, since most good file organizers for Mac OS X aren't free. Users can launch the Reader application separately, which most users will probably only use for previewing a specific .cbr or .cbz file before transferring the file to a tablet or smartphone.
If you prefer not to use the YACReader app for iOS for pulling books from the desktop application, you can always set Mac OS X's server features for easy Library access from mobile apps.
