Quick Fix: Jabra Play loses battery life quickly

Q: My Jabra Play runs out of battery quickly even though I charged it last night. What gives?

The Jabra Play uses a power off/on button that works based on how long you hold it down with one finger. According to the manual, you hold it down 4 seconds for it to power off. If you press it down a little too long (or a few seconds less than recommended), the Play doesn't switch off and will possibly attempt to pair with other Bluetooth devices. This will eventually run down your battery in the process.

To avoid leaving the Play running, don't remove your earphones while powering it down so you hear the confirmation boop. Check the paired Bluetooth device if they are still connected to the Play to make sure the Play is completely off.
