Adding an Audio Mixer to openSUSE 13.2 MATE

An old issue with Fedora Xfce releases was the absence of an audio mixer applet in the default Panel. If you encounter this problem in openSUSE 13.2 running a MATE desktop environment, you can just add the Audio Mixer application to the default panel

Note: Add the Audio Mixer application only if the Audio Mixer applet is not available from the list of available applets.

To add Audio Mixer to the default MATE panel:

1. Right-click on the panel and click Add to Panel.

2. Click Application Launcher > Forward.

3. Click Sound & Audio > Audio Mixer > Add.
